About the Artist
Artistic Journey
Zahra practises and teaches Persian miniature painting and Islamic manuscript illumination. She was trained by a master artist. Zahra combines traditional techniques with personal expression, creating stunning pieces that reflect her love for nature and peacocks, and a rich colour palete that speaks of her cultural heritage.

She works with natural pigments making her own paints. ​She has exhibited her work at various places including at Tate Modern, and teaches internationally including Cairo, Karachi and London among other places.
